Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking their first fully independent release, 'Within' serves as the sixth studio album from the Canadian progressive metal quintet. Thematically anchored by the Hermetic maxim 'as above, so below,' the record balances their signature aggressive technicality with deeply introspective, politically charged lyricism from vocalist Rody Walker. It examines how external societal forces shape internal identity, resulting in a conceptually ambitious and emotionally vulnerable soundscape that represents a new era of artistic freedom for the band.
