Electronic City

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Prurient's 'Electronic City' advances the project's late-career synthesis of noise and structured electronic music, pivoting from the sprawling, organic textures of earlier landmarks toward more rigid, techno-industrial frameworks. The album constructs a harrowing soundscape of urban and digital claustrophobia, utilizing cold, synthetic atmospheres and methodical compositions to explore themes of systemic control and technological dread. This focused approach marks a significant refinement of Dominick Fernow's sonic palette, presenting a concise and unrelenting vision of modern alienation.
