Album Notes & Community Reviews

Continuing their absolute dismantling of traditional rock music, John Lydon's PiL practically abandoned bass guitars and conventional melodies on their third album. 'The Flowers of Romance' is a deeply unnerving, highly avant-garde exploration of thundering tribal drum loops, musique concr猫te tape effects, and incredibly dissonant, cryptic vocal sneers.
