Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded in 1989 but heavily delayed due to label disputes, the Sheffield band's third album marks a crucial transitional phase toward their ultimate Britpop success. The first half features gloomy, synth-heavy indie pop, while the second half unexpectedly dives into contemporary acid house and pulsing alternative dance rhythms.
