Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released via GroundUP Music, 'Feathered Creatures' is a nine-track collaborative studio album uniting acclaimed Indian sitar maestro Purbayan Chatterjee with Snarky Puppy guitarist and composer Mark Lettieri. Crafted alongside keyboardist Nakul Chugh following a late-2023 encounter on tour in India, the record forges a cross-continental dialogue between Hindustani classical raga improvisation, progressive rock sweep, skittering electronic rhythms, and jazz-rock guitar virtuosity.
