Album Notes & Community Reviews
Sensing the shifting cultural tides brought on by punk, Queen notably stripped back their lavish operatic production for a significantly more direct, arena-conquering hard rock approach. Opening with the immortal one-two punch of 'We Will Rock You' and 'We Are the Champions', 'News of the World' is a fiercely energetic, profoundly triumphant, and incredibly eclectic record.
