The Louisville collective greatly expanded their cinematic ensemble, fully utilizing lush string sections and gentle piano melodies to weave deeply melancholic, wordless narratives. The profoundly beautiful, slow-moving compositions seamlessly bridge the gap between traditional neoclassical chamber structures and the sweeping, oceanic textures of modern post-rock. It was deeply inspired by the maritime-themed poetry of Pablo Neruda.
