The Shameless Years

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The American composer's instrumental suite is heavily informed by global political turbulence and his own personal displacements. The tracking builds massive walls of sound through heavily processed, bowed electric guitars and deep synthesizer drones, resulting in dense, elegiac textures. A notable collaboration with Iranian producer Siavash Amini on two central tracks highlights the record's overarching themes of geographical and emotional borders.
