Album Notes & Community Reviews

Portuguese sound artist Rafael Toral fundamentally isolates the electric guitar from its traditional rock context, transforming it exclusively into a source of highly fluid, meditative drone. 'Wave Field' expertly manipulates pure amplifier feedback into continuously shifting, incredibly warm acoustic environments devoid of standard rhythm or melody. The album is heavily praised as a masterpiece of modern minimalist ambient composition.
