Raimundos
by Raimundos
The self-titled debut album from the Brazilian band Raimundos was a landmark release in the country's rock scene. Produced by Carlos Eduardo Miranda, the record established their signature 'forrócore' sound, a high-energy fusion of hardcore punk with rhythms from forró, a traditional musical style from Northeast Brazil. The album's irreverent, humorous, and often explicit lyrics in Portuguese contributed to its widespread and rapid success.
