Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Live at the Performance Center' preserves a June 1997 solo concert by Rainer Ptacek, the German-born, Tucson-based guitarist, performing alone on a battered National Steel guitar. Released posthumously, it documents the slide guitarist and founding Giant Sand member in the final year of his life, months before his death in November 1997.
