Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Polish avant-garde guitarist delivers a remarkable solo interpretation of jazz icon John Coltrane's compositions, stripped down to a single acoustic guitar. Drawing inspiration from the poetry of Langston Hughes, the artist employs intricate fingerpicking and open tunings associated with American Primitivism. The stark, deeply improvisational recordings highlight the universal, mystic qualities inherent in Coltrane's complex melodies.
