Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released mere months after their massive debut, the Ohio quartet's sophomore LP perfected their signature blend of crunchy rock guitars and soaring vocal harmonies. Driven by Eric Carmen's masterful songwriting, the album yielded the defining power pop anthem 'I Wanna Be with You', blending Beach Boys melodicism with The Who's aggressive energy. It cemented their legacy as the premier architects of 1970s power pop.
