Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded rapidly in an Indiana studio during their chaotic first American tour, this album became an unlikely international hardcore punk classic. 'Screams From the Gutter' features incredibly fast, aggressive riffing and distinctively high-pitched, screeching vocals that helped pioneer the burgeoning crossover thrash sound. The intense, blistering 17-track record proved that the Italian underground was producing some of the most vital heavy music of the era.
