Album Notes & Community Reviews
Michael Alec Anthony West, recording as Rebel MC, put Jamaican vocalists at the centre of British breakbeat music on this 1991 album. Barrington Levy, Tenor Fly and Dennis Brown all guest, and the singles 'The Wickedest Sound' and 'Tribal Base' mark the moment ragga vocals and jungle breaks fully fused, a founding document of ragga jungle.
