Karl O'Connor's debut full-length served as a highly aggressive, foundational text for the emerging Birmingham techno movement. Stripping the genre of any lingering Detroit soul or melodic elements, the tracks are intensely repetitive, dark, and ruthlessly mechanical. The uncompromising, industrial-tinged sound heavily influenced the trajectory of European hard techno for decades to follow.
