Album Notes & Community Reviews

Perfecting their signature integration of full-scale classical orchestration and ambitious rock instrumentation, Renaissance delivered a breathtakingly gorgeous symphonic prog classic. 'Ashes Are Burning' is remarkably lush and beautifully pastoral, utilizing Annie Haslam's stunning five-octave vocal range to carry wonderfully poetic, deeply uplifting melodies through immensely epic orchestral arrangements.
