Album Notes & Community Reviews
A monolithic release in the history of Polish rock, Republika's debut is a stark, heavily rhythmic masterpiece of anxious new wave. Grzegorz Ciechowski鈥檚 incredibly dramatic, manic vocal performances and poetic lyrics slice through driving basslines and angular art-punk guitars, resulting in a highly energetic, fiercely unique document of Eastern Bloc post-punk.
