Album Notes & Community Reviews

The English avant-folk artist's breakout release is an incredibly sparse, harrowing display of raw emotion. It relies on his idiosyncratic, heavily rhythmic acoustic guitar playing and an unvarnished, intensely passionate vocal delivery that frequently touches upon themes of death and local history.
