Album Notes & Community Reviews

The legendary British songwriter delivers one of his most consistently acclaimed records of the era, completely eschewing major label interference. Supported heavily by Danny Thompson on double bass, the album is a masterclass in highly intricate, folk-rock guitar playing and deeply melancholic, poetic lyricism.
