Operating under his Richard Wahnfried pseudonym, Klaus Schulze invites drummer Michael Shrieve and vocalist Michael Garvens for an expansive, rhythmically oriented electronic session. 'Megatone' merges the pulsating, sequenced arpeggios of the Berlin School with live, propulsive drumming. The album forges a deeply hypnotic and futuristic space-rock atmosphere heavily reliant on extended improvisations.
