Album Notes & Community Reviews
Recording heavily in historical studios across Nashville and Muscle Shoals, the Californian rock quartet achieved their major commercial breakthrough and multiple Grammy nominations with this release. The album refines their vintage, 1970s-indebted sound with expansive, gospel-influenced backing vocals and muscular, arena-ready guitar riffs.
