Robertson, born to a Mohawk mother and raised partly on the Six Nations reserve, built this score for a television documentary series from the music of his own heritage, performing with the Red Road Ensemble. His son Sebastian plays drums on four tracks and the trio Ulali sings 'Mahk Jchi (Heartbeat Drum Song)', while his daughter Delphine adds backing vocals to 'Coyote Dance'.
