Album Notes & Community Reviews

Transitioning from the insular House of God church tradition to the mainstream festival circuit, the virtuoso pedal steel guitarist delivers a blistering, highly energetic set. The album brilliantly merges the explosive, instrumental fireworks of the jam-band scene with the deep, soulful grooves of gospel and classic funk. The release earned widespread critical acclaim and significantly popularized the sacred steel tradition.
