Album Notes & Community Reviews

Re-teaming with a backing band comprised of Peter Buck, Scott McCaughey, and Bill Rieflin, the veteran British eccentric delivers a remarkably polished and harmonious set of pop-rock tunes. The songs are steeped in shimmering acoustic guitars, tight vocal harmonies, and his trademark surrealist lyricism. The project showcases a surprisingly straightforward, accessible side to his normally idiosyncratic songwriting.
