Biography
Billing for the three albums Robyn Hitchcock made with Seattle musicians Peter Buck (guitar), Scott McCaughey (bass) and Bill Rieflin (drums): 'Olé! Tarantula' (2006), 'Goodnight Oslo' (2009) and 'Propellor Time' (2010), all released on #Yep Roc#. The Venus 3 gave Hitchcock's surreal, melodic songwriting its most straightforward rock-band frame since his 1980s work with *Robyn Hitchcock and The Egyptians*, powered by Buck's chiming guitar work and the supple McCaughey–Rieflin rhythm section. Hitchcock's extensive solo catalogue is documented under his own artist page; this page covers only the Venus 3 releases.
