Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released as 'The Rod Stewart Album' in the US, the raspy-voiced singer's solo debut established his masterful, acoustic-leaning fusion of English folk and gritty R&B. Assisted by several of his Faces bandmates, his profoundly soulful interpretations of the Rolling Stones and Mike d'Abo demonstrated a rapidly maturing, world-class interpretive talent.
