Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking his debut on Chrysalis Records, 'Against the Grain' captures Rory Gallagher sharpening his fiery blues-rock attack with slightly more focused, hard-hitting studio production. The record perfectly distills his blistering fretboard dexterity, balancing intense, overdrive-soaked boogie rockers with deft, intricate acoustic interludes.
