Album Notes & Community Reviews

Co-produced by Deep Purple's Roger Glover, Rory Gallagher's 'Calling Card' effectively polished his gritty, road-tested Irish blues-rock with noticeably tighter, more radio-friendly studio gloss. The album is incredibly melodic and fiercely energetic, highlighting his brilliant, highly technical guitar proficiency alongside wonderfully playful, rhythmic tales of romantic longing.
