Album Notes & Community Reviews

Capturing the stinging, unmistakable tone of his Fender Telecaster, the acclaimed guitarist delivered a blistering set for Alligator Records. 'Hot Wires' features aggressive, unadulterated electric blues, highlighting his pioneering use of pinch harmonics and volume swells. The album stands as a searing, technically brilliant document released shortly before his tragic death the following year.
