Album Notes & Community Reviews

Teaming up with acclaimed jazz-fusion bassist Stanley Clarke as producer, Roy Buchanan expands his gritty blues foundations into funkier, highly rhythmic territory on 'Loading Zone'. The sessions feature a massive roster of session heavyweights, including Steve Cropper and members of the MG's, providing a muscular backdrop for Buchanan's piercing Telecaster solos. The project successfully modernizes his electric blues style with tight, driving grooves.
