The immensely influential New Zealand guitarist crafted a profoundly beautiful, deeply hypnotic solo masterpiece following his work with Dadamah and The Pin Group. Relying entirely on heavily layered, effects-drenched electric guitars, the completely instrumental recording evokes the incredibly stark, isolating landscapes of his native country. The deeply meditative, slow-moving soundscapes laid a crucial foundational blueprint for the emerging American ambient-rock movement.
