Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as the ambitious opening chapter in a conceptual trilogy focusing on the eternal battle between good and evil, 'Masquerade' finds German power metal pioneers Running Wild at peak intensity. The album leans heavily on aggressive speed metal tempos, razor-sharp riffing, and Rolf Kasparek's signature historical and rebellious lyricism. It completely eschews the era's alternative trends, delivering unadulterated, classic European heavy metal.
