Album Notes & Community Reviews
Operating as a prolific solo vehicle for the enigmatic musician Dami谩n Ojeda, Sadness continues to pioneer the deeply emotive intersections of lo-fi black metal and shoegaze. 'April Sunset' blankets incredibly uplifting, highly melodic post-rock crescendos and ethereal synthesizers beneath a trademark layer of abrasive tape distortion and tortured vocals. The record is a stunningly beautiful, emotionally overwhelming exhibition of modern underground blackgaze.
