Album Notes & Community Reviews

The second release by Munich-based progressive rock ensemble Sahara pushes further into expansive, synth-driven territories. Originally formed as Subject Esq., the band evolved their sound on 'Sunrise' by incorporating heavier krautrock repetition with intricate, symphonic song structures. The album remains a prime example of the mid-70s German progressive underground.
