Album Notes & Community Reviews
The debut album from Saltland, the solo project of cellist Rebecca Foon (Thee Silver Mt. Zion, Esmerine). The record is a collection of haunting, atmospheric songs built around layers of cello, voice, and electronics, with contributions from a host of guest musicians. Foon's cello work is both melodic and textural, creating a rich foundation for her ethereal vocals and the album's overall sense of melancholic beauty.
