Album Notes & Community Reviews
Sam Phillips' 'Fan Dance', her first album for Nonesuch, pares her songwriting to acoustic arrangements produced with T Bone Burnett. Its dry wit and economical forms made it a touchstone of literate adult pop at the turn of the century.
