Album Notes & Community Reviews

Operating as a massive fixture in the New York loft jazz scene, the incredibly versatile saxophonist and flutist led this profoundly exploratory acoustic quartet session. Featuring Dave Holland and Joe Daley, the compositions effortlessly weave through aggressive, fiery dissonance and highly structured, melodic post-bop interplay. The record is widely praised as a masterful, dynamic exhibition of free jazz ensemble intelligence.
