Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced by Yellow Magic Orchestra's Haruomi Hosono, 'Eating Pleasure' is a vibrant, deeply eccentric masterpiece of early 1980s techno kayō. Hawaiian-Japanese vocalist Sandii blends traditional pop sensibilities with highly mechanized synthpop, reggae-dub rhythms, and quirky new wave energy. The project effectively laid the groundwork for her highly successful ensuing project, Sandii & the Sunsetz.
