Album Notes & Community Reviews

Capitalizing on their signature steel guitar sound, the instrumental duo applies their atmospheric, reverb-laden approach to a collection of traditional and popular Hawaiian melodies. The lush, cinematic arrangements strip away their rock and roll edge, landing firmly within the realm of polished, mid-century exotica. The album successfully trades upon the widespread romanticization of Polynesian culture prevalent during the era.
