Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut solo album from the Arcade Fire violinist. 'Hero Brother' is a powerful and emotive collection of instrumental pieces for solo violin, with occasional vocal and percussive textures. Recorded in a variety of resonant spaces, the album showcases Neufeld's distinctive playing style, which blends classical technique with a post-rock sensibility and the influence of minimalist composers, creating a sound that is both raw and virtuosic.
