Aamongandr

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The notorious Finnish solo act Werwolf delivers another slab of unrepentantly traditional black metal. 'Aamongandr' ignores all modern post-metal trends, relying exclusively on buzzing tremolo riffs, hyper-speed drumming, and an aggressively lo-fi production aesthetic. The album is a triumphant, deeply melodic homage to the second wave of Scandinavian black metal.
