Album Notes & Community Reviews

The German symphonic prog band Satin Whale presents a highly melodic and meticulously arranged effort on 'As a Keepsake'. Dominated by sweeping Hammond organ and intricate flute passages, the music echoes the classic British progressive rock tradition more than the experimental Krautrock of their peers. It is a finely crafted, accessible entry in European prog.
