Album Notes & Community Reviews

The monumental debut from the Danish sextet presents an agonizingly slow, deeply romantic take on the death-doom subgenre. Intricately weaving guttural growls with atmospheric acoustic interludes, spoken-word poetry, and evocative field recordings, the album established the group as masters of profound, gothic-tinged melancholia.
