Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut album from the Florida-based Oliva brothers showcases a raw, uncompromising blend of traditional heavy metal and early power metal. Characterized by Criss Oliva's jagged, aggressive riffing and Jon Oliva's shrieking, theatrical vocals, the record established the underground foundation for what would later become a highly successful progressive metal act. It remains a deeply respected cult classic of 1980s American metal.
