Album Notes & Community Reviews

Retaining only Kim Simmonds from the group's original incarnation, the British blues-rock stalwarts successfully reinvented themselves as a highly potent boogie-rock machine. The album reached the Billboard Top 40, propelled heavily by the sprawling, deeply hypnotic nine-minute title track that closes the record. It represents the absolute commercial and creative peak of their heavily retooled 1970s lineup.
