Album Notes & Community Reviews

Scars' only studio album expanded the Edinburgh group's tense post-punk into a more melodic and dramatic new wave form. 'Author! Author!' preserves the band's sharp rhythmic edge while showing a more polished and theatrical studio identity than their earliest singles.
