Still Screaming

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released as the very first full-length album on the legendary Dischord label, this debut significantly broadened the scope of the Washington D.C. hardcore scene. 'Still Screaming' injects intense, breakneck punk aggression with surprisingly proficient, metallic guitar solos and occasional, heavily rhythmic reggae detours. The incredibly tight, highly political record proved that the burgeoning American hardcore movement was capable of sophisticated musical expansion beyond mere velocity.
