Morbid Visions

Sepultura's debut full-length is a remarkably primitive, lo-fi explosion of blackened thrash and early death metal aesthetics. Hindered by cheap production and untuned instruments, the band nevertheless delivers an incredibly violent, anti-religious assault characterized by blistering speed and Max Cavalera's guttural growls. It is a highly aggressive, foundational document of extreme South American metal.
