Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking a massive evolutionary leap from their primitive death metal origins, 'Schizophrenia' captures Sepultura forging a highly aggressive and technical thrash metal identity. The introduction of lead guitarist Andreas Kisser injects complex, frantic riffing into the band's raw, apocalyptic rhythmic assault. It stands as a crucial transitional record that permanently placed Brazilian extreme metal on the global map.
